What does the Audit Entail?

Our Brand Audit is offered to businesses that we’d be excited to work with and businesses where we think we can make a difference.
The audit is not a root to branch systematic analysis, we concentrate on writ-large issues and insights that could improve the performance of your brand.

 

The audit is an assessment of your ‘brand health’. Do you have a strong differentiating proposition? Is interpretation of that proposition clear and explicit?
Do your audiences get it? Are you making best use of every touch point? Is your marketing performing? Against what measures?

 

Brand articulation, management and deployment can be a delicate operation needing constant assessment,
re-evaluation and innovation. A good tight external view can help you get the most out of your brand,
whether consumer goods, services or business to business.

We’ll use all available sources of information to assess
the following and there will also be some questions,
that will help inform our analysis.

Capability
What can you deliver that none of your competitors can? What’s your proposition?
Is it clear and compelling? Is the brand understood and appreciated internally?
Do the team know how to deliver it? Is the brand evident in customer services? 

Character
What is the distinct personification of your product/brand now? Is your character clear, consistent and accurate? 

Competitors
Who are you competing against. How are they positioned and what are they doing? 

Consumers
Who are you selling to, when how and why? What do they think of your brand? 

Conventions
What are the product, brand and marketing conventions of your sector?
To what extent do you conform and is it useful or holding you back? 

Current
What is the situation right now, in terms of brand performance? 

Course
Where is your sector going? What are the trends telling us?

We will conclude by identifying what we believe to be the primary insights (usually 10 –15).
These are the things we think could shift the performance of your brand.

 

The Audit will be created as a presentation, in a format that best displays our thinking and is engaging for you.
We will generally need about four weeks to complete the audit. If there is a time imperative, then please let us know.

 

The audit is intended to illustrate our capabilities and identify areas that we might help you.
There is no obligation to work with us, but we hope you will see value in how we can make your brand perform better.
