We Fight Any Claim has launched a national marketing campaign to help thousands of consumers recoup the money they are owed from mis-sold PPI by the banks. It will be fronted by John Cleese and will encourage people to get the money they are due.
Certain has been working with lead agency Beginning Middle and End (BME), who developed the overall concept and The TV ad campaign creative, to rebrand the business and develop the outdoor, press, digital and social elements of the campaign. The fully integrated campaign will run on TV, radio, outdoor, press, digital and social between 20th Feb and 20th April.
Richard Thomas, at We Fight Any Claim said: “It was important that this campaign cut through the noise on PPI. Thousands of people are still owed life changing sums of money by the banks who mis-sold PPI. John Cleese is the perfect man to front our campaign. He shares our passion for protecting consumers and getting them what they are due.”
We Fight Any Claim is one of the UK’s largest claims management companies having reclaimed nearly £300 million in compensation for thousands of customers since 2010. It is a family run business based in Cwmbran, South Wales employing over 600 staff.
Phil Dean, managing director of Certain, said: “This is a great brief that gave us the opportunity not just to rebrand a business but re-position an entire industry. For too long PPI has been badly represented when it is the banks who are at fault. Our job was to take a very simple complex message and come up with a creative approach that asks the viewer to re-think their attitude to PPI and position WFAC as a trusted, consumer champion.treatment that cuts through the noise. John Cleese is recognised as a campaigner for individuals rights and as such, the perfect man to lead this campaign.”

New campaign aims to make families love boarding schools
A new campaign to encourage parents to consider a boarding school education for their children has launched. The Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) is aiming to increase the numbers of homegrown UK boarders.
The BSA has hired a marketing agency, Certain to deliver a campaign across a range of media channels. The campaign will see press advertising, social media, branded collateral and a tour bus, which uses the #iloveboarding hashtag.
Aileen Kane, assistant director at BSA said: “There's never been a better time to board at a British boarding School. We see 90% of pupils proceed to the university of their choice and boarding helps to foster confidence, community spirit, independence and social skills.
“This campaign highlights the many benefits of a boarding school education and challenges some of the misconceptions. It brings together support from schools across the country, current pupils and their parents.”
BSA argue standards in boarding school education and pastoral care have never been better and investment in facilities and learning is at an all-time high. The sector currently represents over 75,000 boarding pupils at over 480 UK state and independent boarding schools.
Phil Dean, managing director of Certain, said: “We’ve coupled strategic messaging with engaging imagery to convey some key messages to parents across the UK. The social media elements of this campaign have helped to drive response, and we’ve seen people engaging with the issue.”
The first indications have shown a good response from the British public with web traffic up 113% month on month and a peak of 85,000 people talking about #iloveboarding
Certain was founded in 2015 by Phil Dean, and its client roster includes Sky, Hitachi and Kopparberg.
